The Orixás Route is a cultural immersion in the history of the candomblés of Bahia, their rituals, symbols, and sacred spaces.
The tour begins in Rio Vermelho, a historic neighborhood in Salvador founded by fishermen. We will visit Colônia Z1 and Casa de Yemanjá, where we can get to know the strength of the deity that represents the power of saltwater and motherhood.

Next, we will head to the Orixás Dike, where we can contemplate the sculptures of the Orixás in a huge water mirror in the center of the city of Salvador.

‌We will visit the Monument to the Caboclos and the Independence of Brazil in Bahia, highlighting indigenous ancestry.
‌Finally, we will visit a Candomblé Terreiro that varies according to the visitation calendar, being welcomed by the members of the house to learn a little more about the temples and African-based religions.
